The average level of Indebtedness: What Is the Real Cost of Education?


The average undergraduate tuition and fees at Alaska Colleges for the academic year 2021–2022 are $14,823 for out-of-state students and $6,436 for in-state students. It is below the average level nationwide. For in-state students in 2022, the average tuition is $6,758 while for out-of-state students is $17,900.

Among Alaska Colleges, Alaska Vocational Technical Center has the lowest tuition and fees at $4,572, while the University of Alaska Anchorage charges the most education and fees at $25,228.
